Our story
Hey y'all! I'm Mindy, owner of Junk In Her Trunk. In 2014, I was diagnosed with colon cancer. Four months after having my colon removed, I lost my corporate job and started painting furniture in my garage as therapy — and that's really where this company, and its name, came from.
Our process
Junk In Her Trunk sprays every kitchen with an HVLP sprayer: doors and drawer fronts at our Jacksonville warehouse, frames in place in your kitchen. Each surface is sanded, deglossed and primed with a bonding primer, then gets two to three coats of a low-VOC acrylic enamel with the finish built in.
